How do I assess for grades?

I look at the student's quiz performance and classroom 
participation 
(primarily participation). Students who are not keeping up in 
class will receive a mid-9 week report to let their parents know 
the area that needs to be strengthened.

What are the classroom rules?

1) Follow directions  2) Keep hands, feet, and objects to 
yourself. 3) Hands 
off the instruments until told to play. 4) Remain silent when the 
teacher is 
talking. 5) Always be respectful to everyone.
