About The Teacher
Hello, I am Tra Smith. The kids call me Mr. Tra. I am originally from Texas and have lived in Tennessee for 3 years now. I love the area, people, and opportunities that this state offers. I have been teaching for 8 years, all but 2 in a Special Education capacity. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors of Science and obtained my Masters from Northwestern. I have a wife, Christie, we have been married for 8 years. I also just adopted a son, Hayden, who is 3 months old. My plan for you child is to help him/her reach their highest potential in every aspect of their lives. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your child's academic plan or any questions or concerns you may have.
