Mrs. Baker graduated magna cum laude from Belmont College (now Belmont
University) with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics. She received a
Master
of Education from Middle Tennessee State University in Secondary Curriculum
and Instruction with an emphasis in mathematics education. She has been a
teacher at West Wilson Middle School for 24 years and has 31 years teaching
experience.
The mission for the Pre-Algebra class is to prepare students for Algebra I
in
high school. The mission for the Algebra class is to prepare students to
successfully complete the Tennessee Gateway Algebra exam and to prepare
students for higher level high school mathematics courses.
