Nov. 12       Rube Goldberg cartoon.  Identify and label the simple machines
              in his cartoon. Challenge, design your own "Goldberg" machine
              using multiple steps to perform a simple task.
              Directed Reading skills sheet and complete chart identifying 
              the six simple machines found in various rooms in a house.
              RICA:  Read short selection on the 3 categories of pulleys;
                     Classify each type and explain effect of force and the
                     mechanical advantage of each.  Draw & label.
