| SAFETY PRESENTATION, MAY 8TH, AT 6:00 PM AT WWMS
We are offering a Safety Presentation on Thursday, May 8th, at 6:00 pm
in the Auditorium. Many students will find themselves home alone this
summer for the first time. Sometimes this is a parent's only option, so
we put this program together where local law enforcement from Mt. Juliet
Police Department and Wilson County Sheriff's Dept, fire/safety
professionals, and a representative from TDS Telecom (internet service
provider) could come and speak to parents and students about how to be
safe when home alone.
We wanted to focus on how to be safe when using the internet. With
websites like My Space and Facebook becoming more and more popular with
young adults, it is important that our parents and students be familiar
with ways they can ensure that they are able to safely use the internet.
That is why we invited TDS Telecom to assist us with this event.
We want to make this event open to the community and not just our parent
and students. Please invite anyone you feel would benefit from this.
Please take the time to attend this presentation and help keep our kids
safe!
