My name is Rebecca Hayes and I have been at West Wilson for 10 years. I have
lived in the Nashville area for just over 11 years. I moved here from
Chicago, Il and before moving there I lived in Louisiana, where I spent the
majority of my life. I taught second grade many years ago in Louisiana and
then went into the technical field when I moved to Chicago. I have a dual
Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education K-12 and Elementary 1-8. I
worked as a help desk technician and a junior network administrator, as well
as a technical instructor for adults. I have thoroughly enjoyed coming back
to the teaching field, especially working with middle schoolers and teaching
them proper computer usuage.
My mission is to prepare my students for the work force and to teach them
how to use their computer as a tool in each of their subject areas.
