We will have to postpone our spaghetti dinner until Tuesday. I have heard from only 2
parents. Pleae let mre know what you are willing to send by tomorrow.
8 pounds of hamburger meat,- any amount
5 or 6 jars or cans of Spaghetti sauce,-Larry

2- 3# bag of salad,
1 bottle of ranch dressing,
2-angel food cakes, - Daniel
2- large whipped cream,
2 box instant
vanilla pudding,
fresh or frozen strawberries,

The end of the school year is fast approaching. Here are some FYI items for you:
*Please be sure to let your bus driver if you will be sending your child to school on Saturday,
the 31st. It is only a 2 hour day. I can send home the updated IEP copies on Thursday, but the
report cards won't be ready until Saturday. You can 1.)Send your child to school to pick up the
report card. 2) Come by and get the report card Saturday between 8 and 11. 3) Send in a self
addressed stamped envelope and I will mail it to you. 4) Not worry about the report card and I
can give it to you when school starts.
* We will be going to Wendy's as a final reward field trip on Thursday, the 29th. The kids have
a chance to earn a MINIMUM of 200.00 a week and they have had FOUR weeks to earn 500.00 dollars
in order to participate it the reward field trip. Anyone who has not earned that amount will
remain at school while we go down to the Wendy's at Providence Place. Because of bussing, there
is a chance it will be on Wednesday, but given that there has been more than enough time to earn
the whole amount, I won't change the amount due, even if we have to move it up one day. Five
people have paid the entire amount and 4 are way over half way there.
* As exciting as it is to near the end of school. it is also a little sad for us. Since the
other CD class is moving to the other school, we are loosing a lot of our good friends, as well
as three of our classmates. This Friday we would like to have a spaghetti dinner for both
classes. The kids will prepare all the food themselves. Below a list of the groceries I need
from you. Please let me know what you can send. I may have to ask you to change what you can
send. We will make our own pasta and we are cooking for about 25 people.

OH!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE practice addition and subtraction facts with your child this summer.
THEY DO NOT KNOW the basic facts. Not even plus one and minus one. It is much too late in the
game for us to have to take up class time to drill on math facts. It really slows them down and
messes them up when we are trying to do math problems and they have to stop everything to count
on their fingers or draw lines.
