Families,
 
This week we will NOT be reading a story from our Reading Series.  Instead, we are reading short stories about veterans, in honor of Veterans' Day and practicing how to write a friendly letter.  However, we WILL have a spelling test (the unit that we skipped earlier).  These words went with the story, Prudy's Problem.
 
Also, we will end our unit on subtraction this Friday with a Chapter 5 test.  Please keep quizzing your child on basic addition AND subtraction facts.
 
I look forward to seeing some of you at our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner next Thursday, Nov. 12.  Look for information to go home about this day.
