The true spirit of Christmas is about giving and NOT getting, so our class will NOT be having a gift exchange this year. Instead, we will be giving Christmas cards that we have made to nursing home residents. If you would like to donate Kleenex, we will also be collecting these to give with our cards.
Since we have a ½ day on Dec. 18, our Christmas party will be a “breakfast”. If you would like to donate donuts, juice, milk, etc., PLEASE send a note to let me know what you’d like to bring. (Remember we have 18 students.)
Please note that this week we will have NO Reading or Spelling tests, HOWEVER, we WILL be having a Math test over Chapter 6 on Wednesday. Tuesday, a “Study Guide” (practice test) will be sent home. Our reading time will be spent reading “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson.
