How much is the computer lab fee and what is it used for?
We collect $10.00 per computer class per semester. This helps offset
expenses for the printer paper (white, color, cardstock, envelopes, business
cards, etc.), printer supplies, storage devices (CDs, floppy disks, camcorder
tapes, etc.), and other supplies used for creating document or multimedia
presentations.
What if I do not return the computer agreements signed by my parents?
When you enter your personal user ID and password, you are agreeing to abide
by class rules, WCHS and Wilson County School System policies. You will get a
grade of 100 for returning the signed documents the first week of the
Semester.
Can we use e-mail?
NO!!! E-mail and Instant Messaging applications of any type are not
allowed. Violation may result in disciplinary action.
Can we download music, graphics, or text files from the Internet?
Students are not allowed to download anything without the teacher's
permission. Many things on the Internet are copyright protected and most
company's have codes in their files that can track back to the user and
computer address. This means you can be charged with a criminal offense.
