Dina Bozsoki was born long before any of you can even remember. She began
teaching in 1973 in Illinois. Mrs. Bozsoki has a BS and a MS in English from
Illinois State University. She taught all levels of high school English and
did adjunct work in English for Illinois Central College. She moved to
Tennessee in 1990 and began teaching in Wilson County in 1991. She taught
at Mt. Juliet High School from 1991-2001. She was named Teacher of the Year
in 2000 at MJHS. Mrs. Bozsoki went to the new Wilson Central High School
when it opened in the fall of 2001. She was awarded the Rotary Club Teacher
of the Year in 2001-02. (Wow...isn't she something!) She lives in Lebanon
with her husband Mike and cat Dominose. They love to travel, boat, ski,
work around the house, yard, and pool,and be with family. Her twin sister,
Jodi Davis, is the 10th grade guidance counselor extaordinaire at Wilson
Central High School. She also has a brother in Ohio, a sister in Texas, and
parents) who have moved to Lebanon as well from Florida. Mrs. Bozsoki
currently teaches Honors English I, Journalism (yearbook, and the new CARS
program. In 2002, 2003, 2005,and 2006, and 2007, the Blue Prints yearbook
won the prestigious Gallery of Excellence Award from Walsworth Publishing,
honoring it as one of the top 1% of books published in the country. In 2004,
the yearbook was nominated for outstanding layout awards. Her 2005-06
creative writing class published a novel with IUniverse titled
Silhouettes:Writing on the Wall. Entering her 37th year of teaching, she is
glad to still be alive...
