I am excited to be here at Wison Central High School teaching what I
love...Visual Arts. This will be a great year for creativity, growth, and
discovery.
My Visual Art I class is designed to help students explore the basic
disciplines of art: art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and art
production. During this exploration, students will develop an understanding
of various media, techniques, and processes. The overall objective of this
class is to learn new problem solving skills, become familiar with materials,
and to establish a broader art knowledge and vocabulary.
The Visual Arts III and IV class will focus on building a portfolio the
students can be proud to walk away with. They will be pushed to a more
intense way of thinking and creating. I expect a higher level of
technical skill and discipline from these classes.
