What is the participation grade?
The participation grade is awarded to students for following the classroom guidelines, the school and county guidelines and for completing homework assignments which we go over in class. Students are allowed to come in early to check their homework or get help from me. The students earn 20 points per day for a 5-day week, 33.3 points per day for a 3-day week, and 50 points per day for a 2-day week. Students who do not follow the rules will have their points deducted for the day an infraction occurs. The participation grade (20%) will help those students who follow the rules and likewise will hurt those who don't.Back to Top
