How are grades determined?

As was listed in the Health Science Student Manaul sent home 1st day of
school, grading assignments include class work, homework, projects (count
twice), quizes, tests, and leadership. A student's leadership grade
encompasses (participating, staying on task, following all procedures, i.e.
classroom and school system). He/she begins each week with 50 points. Each
infraction of the classroom/school system policies/procedures results in a
10 point reduction.

How can I get extra credit?

1. You may arrange for a teacher-approved guest speaker. I always encourage
students to have family and/or friends in health care come speak. It is a
breath of fresh air to hear someone else talk besides me. Ha!
2. Make up Jeopardy game questions (and answers) over unit of study.
3. Make a Concentration game over unit of study.
4. Develop a project of interest related to a state standard/competency.
   Prior approval is required.
