The jounalism exploratory is available to middle school students based on teacher recommendations. Any students in grades 6-8 interested in participating in next year's journalism exploratory may see Mrs. Staggs for an application.

The journalism exploratory students will learn about journalistic styles used in a variety of media. They will assist in the production of a school newspaper and yearbook. Student tasks will include taking pictures, captioning, interviewing, writing articles and copy, creating layouts, and participating in the business side of the yearbook through sales.
