What does the State of Tennessee list as the curfew law?
TCA 39-17-1702 Curfew
a)It is unlawful for any minor between seventeen (17) and eighteen (18) years
of age to remain in or upon any public street, highway, park, vacant lot,
establishment or other public place within the county during the following
time frames:
1) Monday through Thursday between the hours of eleven o'clock p.m.
(11:00p.m.) to six o'clock a.m. (6:00a.m.)
2) Friday through Sunday between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight
to six o'clock (6:00a.m.)
b) It is unlawful for any minor sixteen (16) years of age and under to remain
in or upon any public street, highway, park, vacant lot, establishment, or
other public place within the county during the following time frames:
1) Moday through Thursday between the hours of ten o'clock p.m. (10:00p.m.)
to six o'clock a.m. (6:00a.m.)
2) Friday through Sunday between the hours of eleven o'clock p.m. (11:00p.m.)
to six o'clock a.m. (6:00a.m.)

Is Laser Pointing at school a criminal offense?
It is only a criminal offense to Point a Laser when it is in the direction of
an officer! T.C.A. 39-16-515 states it is an offense to knowingly activate
and point a laser pointer or other device utilizing a laser beam at a person
known to be a law enforcement officer while the officer is in the performance
of such officer's official duties with the intent to place such officer in
fear of serious bodily injury or death.
This crime is classified as a Class A Misdemeanor
However, if you have possession of one in school no matter how you are using
it, it is a school offense which is confiscation of the device and In-School
suspension.

How is Criminal Trespassing outlined in Tennessee Law?
TCA 39-14-405 Criminal Trespass Class C Misdemeanor
(a) A person commits criminal trespass who, knowing he does not have the
owner's effective consent to do so, enters or remains on property, or a
portion thereof. Knowledge that the person did not have the owner's effective
consent may be inferred where notice against entering or remaining is given
by:
(1) Personal commmunicationto the person by the owner or by someone with
apparant authority to act for the owner;
(2) Fencing or other enclosure obviously designed to exclude intruders; or
(3) Posting reasonably likely to come to the attention of intruders.

Disorderly Conduct: I've heard the term- What does it mean?
TCA 39-17-305 Disorderly Conduct Class C Misdemeanor
(a) A person commits an offense who, in a public place and with intent to
cause public annoyance or alarm:
(1) Engages in fighting or in violent or threatening behavior;
(2) Refuses to obey an official order to disperse issued to maintain
public safety in dangerous proximity to a fire, hazard, or other emergency; or
(3) Creates a hazardous or physically offensive condition by any act that
serves no legitimate purpose.
(b) A person that violates this section who makes unreasonable noise which
prevents others from carrying on lawful activities.
