Absences

The student is responsible for finding out what work they missed and
completing it.
The amount of time allowed to complete work after an absence will be
equal to the number of days missed.
In regards to unexcused absences and OSS, a student will be allowed to
make up only tests. They may receive no more than a grade of 84 on the
makeup test.

Class participation

All students are expected to be on task. When learning new material, all
students are expected to take notes. When given an assignment in class, all
students are expected to work until they complete the assignment.

Calculators

Calculators are allowed. If a student does not purchase one, they may
borrow one during class. We will be using the TI-83. The TI-83 is the
largest calculator that is allowed during the Gateway Exam.
