I graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1992 and
after a few years of studio work, I went back to school at Tennessee
Technological University and received my teaching certification. I have been
teaching art in public schools ever since. I much prefer the creative
environment of the classroom to working alone in the studio. I find that the
students help charge up my creativity like nothing else and I feel privileged
that they allow me to be a part of their creative processes as well.
Our mission is to create individual and collaborative art as expressions
of who we are as individuals and how we all work together and contribute to
making this a great school.
