UPCOMING EVENTS
November 7 RCS Flute choir to perform at the Christmas Open House for
Mountain Star Mall beginning at 10:30. Flutists should meet
at 10:15 in the Shepherd's Center parking lot. Dress will be
red polo shirts and black pants with dark shoes. Students
perform for around 45 minutes.
November 9 & 13 Jazz ensemble practice in the auditorium until 4:00
November 11 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands will perform during for the
school a tribute to Veterans' Day at 8:30 and 1:30. Students
should wear new gray band t-shirts with black pants and dark
shoes.
November 17 Flute choir
November 18 First after school practice for Christmas musical until 4:15
November 19 Flute choir and jazz ensemble to perform at Chamber of
Commerce breakfast. Flutes should meet at Holston Electric
building at 7:30 am. Jazz ensemble will ride bus with RCS
singers to Holston Electric. All students will be transported
back to RCS by bus.
November 20-21 Walters' State Honor Band Clinic for 8th grade
November 24 Second after school practice for Christmas musical until 4:15
December 1 Third after school practice for Christmas musical until 4:15
December 3 Fourth after school practice for Christmas musical until 4:15
December 4 Beginner band presents "Our First Concert" at 9:00am in RCS
auditorium for their family.
December 8 Performance of musical for pre-k through 1st grade
December 9 Performance of musical for lower grades
December 10 School performance of musical for upper grades and first
evening performance for public beginning at 6:45
December 11 Evening performance for public beginning at 6:45
December 12 6th, 7th, 8th grade band students to Dollywood
December 15 Flute Choir to perform for Rotary club luncheon
