My teaching
philosophy:
As far as I am
concerned, one of the most invigorating faces of ESL teaching is that,
it is
ever-originating. If langguage is dynamic, learning is fluid, and teaching,
mutating. These three componentss~language, learning, teaching~ interplay to
contribute endless possibilities of "approaches" or "strategies" to my English
teaching classroom. Consequently, to me, whole-class teaching is not
necessarily inferior to the group-work process; role plays and games are not
always super to explicating grammar rules; likewise, presentations for
students are not less valid than paper tests, and PowerPoint instruction is
not less effective than traditional lecture. Most of of the time, I'll blend
some aspects together, when an optimal moment comes. Whatever we're doing in
class, I hope to prevail this perspective to my students: simply being
open-minded and being fun. Only when learning becomes a pleasure of thing can
it be a lifelong pursuit! On my mind,every student is precious. They are to me
what tender shoots are to a gardener. The greatest joy of cultivating this
education land coomes from every time I , the gardener, greed the flower bed
and find every mosalic-like change happing in theses twigs. With plenty light
and nutrition, I'm looking forwards to seeing these little plants reveal at
their best to show thir respective beauty and turn out to be more flourishing
ones!
