We are in the early stages of an IB unit titled "Settle Down or Move On!" We are studying map skills, Native Americans of Texas, and the reason people migrate.
We are working on reading and writing expository (informational) texts. We are studying the text features (table of contents, index, headings, captions, etc.) We are also researching the Native Americans of Texas and publishing our reports in a pop-up book.
In math, we are starting to learn about patterns and tables. Please practice math facts at home with your child to make problem solving easier for them in class.
