Rebecca Kunkel, LMSW has worked at Anderson Mill Elementary since August
1993. Ms. Kunkel is committed to helping Anderson Mill students by
providing a comprehensive, developmental program which addresses the
adademic, career, and personal/social development of all students and
thereby supporting student achievement. Ms. Kunkel has a masters degree in
social work and holds a license by the Texas State Board of Social Work
Examiners.

offered to students which include classroom guidance lessons, counseling
groups, behavior plans, consultation with teachers and/or parents,
individual counseling, mentorship program participation, and referrals to
outside agencies. Ms. Kunkel has implemented and coordinates various
programs at Anderson Mill for students and for families which include peer
mediation, student leadership groups (AMIGOS and the S.W.A.T. team), family
