How and When is absent work graded?
When a student is absent, they have the same amount of days that they were out to get the work completed and turned in. All absent work is held until the end of the grading period and will be graded before final grades are posted. This is so that I am not constantly having to grade absent work. I prefer to grade it all at once. Zeroes are put in the grade book along with being marked as missing so that students and parents are aware that every grade affects the overall average.Back to Top
