This is my fourth year here at Bales as the librarian. I am also a reading
specialist. I LOVE BOOKS!!
I am very excited to welcome all the students to the library. We have a
great collection of books. If your looking for something and need help- I'm
at your service. Just ask the Book Diva. I hope you will come and visit
often.
Our theme this year is "Paws to Read". Don't forget to email me with current
pictures of your pets so I can post them on our pet page.
I will have many types of reading incentives this school year. You can earn
genre patches, dog tags, special pencils and erasers, and awards at the end
of the year. Make sure you check out the reading awards on this website.

The library is the hub of the school. It is the source for information. It
does not just house books, but all other types of media. A librarian is an
information specialist for the school. A library should be inviting. That
