Announcements

 Reading - We are reading and studying many books written by author Eve Bunting.  We are also reading many wonderful books by authors who write in the memoir genre.  

Writing - We are continuing our writing focus on memoir.  Tuesday the students are taking a Writing TAKS Release exam to assess their writing strengths and weaknesses. 

Spelling - Please see the Homework page for this week's assignment.

Math - We are completing our unit on decimals and taking an exam on Monday.  We will then begin measurement with a focus on capacity.

Science - Electricity is a fun way to study non-living systems, and the students are off to a dynamic start.

Social Studies - We are continuing our Texas study.
