Our October creative writing assignment was for the class to become a pumpkin. As the pumpkin they were to convince me not to use them for my pumpkin pie. They used similes, metaphors, onomatopoeias, alliterations in their writing. Some stories were very creative, and some stories were just plain gross!! In November, our creative writing assignment was to write about the situation they saw when they walked in the room. (Click on the turkey above to see the pictures of our "crime scene". In the picture you will see turkey feathers scattered all over the room. Caution tape was placed around the feathers to create our scene. The student's were to write a story about how they think the feathers got into the room.
