Your support this school year will keep our PTA strong so that we can continue
to work together in support of our children. There are many
opportunities to be involved in our school:
• Become
a PTA member. Membership allows you to vote on issues
important to your child’s education. Moms, dads,
grandparents, friends and neighbors are encouraged to join! A
diverse and broad membership base will enrich our PTA and the education of our
children.
• Participate
in major fundraising events. This year we
are introducing the Blackland Prairie Donation Round-Up to replace our
traditional catalog sale. This will allow you to make a
tax-deductible donation and 100% of your contribution will benefit Blackland
Prairie. Our Fall Festival takes place in October and is
always a fun event for students and their families.
• Become
a Volunteer. Every contribution of time
makes a difference. Please complete the attached volunteer
form or see any PTA board member to identify an opportunity that works best
for you. A list of current board members and committee
chairs is also attached for your convenience.
Your involvement will continue to make Blackland Prairie a special place for
our children to learn, grow and succeed. Please join us
