2008/2009 BOX TOPS & LABELS PROGRAM RESULTS

What a spectacular year for our Box Tops and Labels Program!  Thanks to all your hard work, we earned over $7,500 in the 2008/2009 school year! This was more than double what was originally anticipated, and the extra money was put towards the purchase and installation of a new awning over the little kids’ playscape!  Here’s the breakout between programs:

v     Boxtops for Education earned cash of $7,200.00.   

v     Tyson A+ Labels earned cash of $100.00.

v     Campbell’s Labels for Education and Nestle Go Play Labels earned 46 balls, 18 jump ropes, 3 jumping hoppers, 12 swing-n-hops, 2 lightweight horseshoe sets and 9 bean bags.  These will all be available for the kids to use during recess.      

Our New Goal:

HELP US FUND AN AWNING FOR THE BIG KIDS’ PLAYSCAPE!

The box tops you saved last year allowed the PTA to fund the awning for the little kids’ playground that was installed this summer,

and now its the big kids' turn!

Collect:

-         Boxtops for Education (cut on or around dotted line, include expiration date).  Boxtops can be placed on a collection sheet or in a baggie.

-         Campbell’s UPC codes and V-8 lids.

-         Tyson A+ box panels, or top of rip off bag (must include 1,2,3)

-         TerraCycle items (please rinse and dry all juice pouches before turning them in, and place juice pouches in a separate bag from all other items).

Please note that the Nestle Pure Life Go Play program has been discontinued so we are not saving those labels.  

(If you saved water labels over the summer we’ll still give you credit, for this contest only.)

Include your child’s name and their teacher’s name on every baggie or

collection sheet you turn in to their teacher.

Turn in all items by Friday, October 23rd!

The top class in each grade as well as the top 10 classes overall will win a popcorn party.  The top 10 students will also receive a special prize!
