What is the purpose of the interactive notebook?

The purpose of the interactive notebook is to help you be a 
creative, independent thinker and writer.  It also helps you to stay 
organized with all of your assignments and notes in one place.  The 
notebook will be used for class notes as well as other activities 
where you will be asked to express your own ideas and process 
information you have learned in class.
