The VASE Regional Event is February 23rd at Spring Woods High School. VASE stands for:
Visual Arts Scholastic Event. It is the UIL equivalent for Visual Art and is sponsored by TAEA
(Texas Art Educators Association.)It provides a wonderful opportunity for our students to see
many wonderful pieces of art from our region and discuss Art with outstanding Art Educators.
Mrs. Middleton's AWESOME students have committed to take 35 pieces of Art to the event. They
will have 7 minutes to discuss each piece of artwork with an experienced Art Specialist. They
will then receive an evaluation and rating between 1-4, with 4 being the highest score.
