About The Teacher
Andrea graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas and Master of Arts from the University of Colorado. Andrea has been at Brushy Creek since 2005. She has experience with preschool aged children in an integrated setting, students with autism, and elementary students.
Mission Label:
Mission
The premise of this program is to provide preschool aged children identified as speech and/or language disordered with an effective service delivery model. The APPLE program emphasizes phonological awareness and expressive language development set in a naturalistic, language-based therapeutic classroom. Development of these areas will contribute to pre-literacy readiness skills necessary for academic success.
