The following is our grading system for K-2nd grade:

4 - Understandings go beyond grade level expectation

3 - Exhibits mastery of skill/concept

2 - Exhibits skill/concept with minimal guidance

1 - Exhibits skill/concept with direct guidance

It is unlikely but not impossible that a kindergarten student will recieve a 3 or 4 in the first grading period.

For 3-5th grade students will be graded on both behavior and participation in the following manner:

E - excellent

S - satisfactory
N - needs improvement
U - unsatisfactory
