Mrs. Symington lives in Round Rock with her husband, Bob, and her daughter,
Shannon. Shannon is 17 and a senior at McNeil High School this year. Mrs.
Symington earned her graduate degree in speech pathology & audiology from
Baylor University and attended the University of North Texas to obtain her
certification as an educational diagnostician. She has been working with
young children for the past 23 years, in elementary schools, an Early
Childhood Intervention program and at Cook-Ft. Worth Children's Hospital.
The Symingtons have 2 slightly crazy cats, Sam and Simba, and 1 perfectly
normal dog, Sasha. They have lived in the Austin area for 7 years, residing
in Grapevine, Texas previously.
All children will be loved, respected, and listened to. I will strive to
meet each student at their level and to provide each with the communication
skills they need to reach their full potential and become a happy, well-
rounded person who walks across the stage at high school graduation.
