Hello! This is my 13th year teaching, 11 of which have been in 1st grade. I
graduated from the University of Iowa. I am ESL and TAG certified. I
taught for 3 years in Los Angeles, where I met my husband. After those
three years my husband and I decided to move to the Austin area.
My husband and I have two girls. Megan is 7 and will be starting 2nd grade
this year. Emily is 5 and is going into kindergarten. We have two dogs. One
dog is a Beagle named Bailey and the other dog is a Lab/Catahoula mix named
Hershey (you will never guess what color she is). We also have one cat named
Pumpkin (again, I bet you can't guess his color).
I am looking forward to an AWESOME school year. Let's work together to make
this school year the best it can be.
