It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to 5th grade at Cactus
Ranch Elementary. I look forward to a fulfilling and enriching school year
with your children. I am very excited to get to know them and to have the
opportunity to help them grow.
My dream of teaching began at Concordia University about 15 years
ago. After receiving a degree in Elementary Education, I worked as a third
grade and fifth grade teacher in Pflugerville ISD. In 2007, I was hired to
teach fifth grade at Cactus Ranch Elementary. The last 4 years have been
amazing, and I can’t wait to do it all over again with a new batch of kids.
My wonderful husband and I have been married for almost 13 years and
currently live in Georgetown. We are raising three incredible boys. Ethan
is 10, Austin is 7, and Jake is almost 1. They grow up too fast!
I am ecstatic about beginning another year in fifth grade full of
new challenges and rewards. It is sure to be a great year!

here to help your children have an eventful year and prepare them for middle

My goal for the year is to create a classroom of life long learners
and readers. I want to foster a curiosity in my students that makes them
want to search and find answers to the many questions they may have. It is
also important to me to teach my kids to work as a team day in and day out.
