A parent needs to sign the agenda daily to indicate that their child has
completed the homework for the day.
Reading: Each night your child is required to read for 20 minutes.
Eventually, they will usually have a reading group assignment. There is no
log to record book titles. Your signature on the agenda each night
indicates that they have done their reading.
Math: Each week your child will bring home a Math Flashback which
will be due the following Friday. Students are also required to study their
addition/subtraction facts every night. They may study using flashcards,
computer games, or paper and pencil, etc. Again, there is nothing to turn
in to me. Your signature also indicates they have studied their facts. A
worksheet may come home up to twice a week (noted in the agenda).
Spelling: Lists will go home on Fridays and students will be tested the
following Friday. Spelling paragraph homework page is due each Thursday!!!
Science Flashback will go home once a month. It will be handed out on a
Friday and will be due the following Friday.
