Easily Misspelled Words

 

1. person- n. A human being.

 

2. sure- adj.  Certain; being impossible to doubt.

 

3. touch -1.  n.  The sense by which objects are observed by contact with the skin. 2. v. To allow a part of the body, as the hands, to feel something else; to come in contact with.

 

4. tropical-adj.  Being hot and humid in climate.

 

5. young- adj.  Of or relating to the early stage of life; not old.

 

6. island-. n. Apiece of land smaller than a continent and completely surrounded by water.

 

7. built- v. Past tense of build. Created or fashioned.

 

8. against-prep.  In contact with; not in favor of or in combat with.

 

9. different-adj.  Not the same.

10. palm- n. The inner area of the hand between the fingers and the wrist.

 

11. awhile-adv. For a short time.

 

12. answer-1. n. The written or spoken reply, as to a question; a result or solution, as to a problem. 2. v. To respond.  

 

13. mountain-n. A land mass that is a product of a certain number and another number.

 

14. remember-v.  To bring back or recall to the mind.

 

15. camera-n.  A device for taking photographs.

Write each spelling word three times. CIRCLE your neatest handwriting for each.

Write each spelling word in lowercase letters. Write it again in capital
letters. Example: at AT

Write each spelling word two times in pencil and one time in marker or pen.

Write each spelling word. Write each word again using capital letters for
vowels and lowercase letters for consonants. Example: we wE run rUn

Write each spelling word using red pen for vowels and blue pen for
consonants.

Write words in bubble or fancy letters

Write words in a sentence. Underline your spelling words.

Write a story using your words.

Write spelling words 5 times each.

Write words in ABC order.

Develop a code and write your spelling words. (Example, a=#, b=%)

Create a cartoon strip using your spelling words.

Draw pictures that show what your words mean.

Write words in color 5 times each.

Write a poem or song using your spelling words.
