We know we're a few days late on this, but we've FINALLY posted the 5 Finalists for our Best Website contest on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TeacherWebInc. You have from now until midnight next Wednesday, May 22nd, to vote on your favorite. The winner will receive a free year of TeacherWeb, and the 4 runners-up will get $15 Starbucks giftcards, so vote wisely! The Finalists' websites are posted in their own photo album on our Facebook page, so check those out first, visit the sites, click around, then come back and vote via our poll.

Thanks for your participation - we were amazed by all the entries and fantastic websites that we got to review, and if you didn't end up in the Top 5, know that it's because there are so many stellar educators out there using our products to reach their students and families that it was almost impossible for us to choose.

 As parents, it is extremely important to be involved in our children's education.&nbsp; PTA is a vital link between home, school and community.&nbsp; It is the largest child advocacy volunteer group in America and speaks on behalf of children who cannot affect change for themselves.&nbsp; The PTA's budget is based solely on membership dues, school-wide and tax-deductible donations.&nbsp; I encourage you to become an active participant in our school and community by becoming a member of CRE PTA.&nbsp; Membership in PTA allows parents to have a stronger voice in how PTA funds are allocated, what kinds of and events are planned and how to best support our school.&nbsp; Another benefit of PTA membership comes in the form of discounts from places such as Sea World, Schlitterbahn, La Quinta and Six Flags to name only a few.&nbsp; Please consider joining PTA today! We are always in need of volunteers on many levels.&nbsp; Without our generous volunteers, events like out Back to School Howdy, Hoedown and Family Nights would not be possible.&nbsp; WE have volunteer opportunities for every time and commitment level - there is always something to fit very schedule.&nbsp; Please check out the volunteer form to see what best fits your schedule. With time, talent and monetary support, CRE families help CRE PTA accomplish great things for the students, teachers and families of Cactus Ranch.&nbsp; This year, the PTA has provided the student agendas for grades 1-5, continues to help support and/or coordinate wonderful programs including Watch DOGS, Math SuperStars, Spelling Bee, Math Pentathlon, Reflections, Science Fair and more.&nbsp; We provided funds to CRE to purchase a shade structure for the large playground in an amount of over $25,000!!!&nbsp; In addition, CRE PTA helps maintain the district's Clothes Closet, providing clothing to children in need.&nbsp; A new event that we added last year was our spring play production of C Charlotte's Web.&nbsp; This year, we will be performing&nbsp;Charlie and the Chocolate Factory&nbsp;in February.&nbsp; YOU helped make it a smashing success last year.&nbsp; We are asking for your support again this year!
