The Academic Language Therapist

Certified Academic Language Therapists (CALTs) are qualified to treat 
children and adults diagnosed with written-language learning disabilities.

I hold a baccalaureate degree from The University of Texas and have 
completed extensive post-graduate education in the theories and methods of 
remedial written-language treatment as well as the use of multisensory, 
structured, phonetic, language-based curricula at Southern Methodist 
University.  In addition, I have successfully completed the ALTA, Academic 
Langugae Therapy Association, qualifying exam and am a memeber of the 
organization.
