Pam Wallace is the full time Registered Nurse at Cactus Ranch Elementary. Pam graduated from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Pam has worked in nursing for over 20 years in a variety of settings including acute care, rehabilitation and home care. Pam has been a school nurse for RRISD for 6 years and says this is her favorite nursing job of all!!!! Pam is originally from Westchester County, NY and moved to Austin 9 years ago with her husband and 2 children. Pam has a 17 year old daughter who is a Senior at Westwood High School and a 13 year old son in 8th Grade at Cedar Valley Middle School. Pam loves the outdoors and spent the past few summers as a camp nurse in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate NY. Pam is thrilled to be back at Cactus Ranch this year and looks forward to a healthy year for everyone at Cactus Ranch. Make sure you check out the Nurses Corner outside the Nurses office. Information for parents and fun activities for children will be available on a variety of health related topics. Cheryl Sampson, LVN is the half time LVN at Cactus Ranch Elementary, She will be splitting her time between Cactus Ranch and Great Oaks Elementary. Cheryl has been with Round Rock ISD for 14 years and has worked at Jollyville, Spicewood, and Live Oak Elementary. She is married and has 5 children, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, spending time with family and walking her dogs Molly and Lady. Cheryl joined the Cactus Ranch Elementary staff last year and has enjoyed getting to know the children, families and staff at Cactus Ranch Elementary.
