About The Teacher

  Hello!  My name is Michele Adair and this will be my third year at Cactus 
Ranch Elementary.  I am so excited to be a part of a wonderful learning 
community.  My family is full of teachers, and I developed my passion for 
teaching young children from an early age.  My great Grandmother was a 
teacher, followed by my Grandmother, two Aunts, and a Cousin as well.  
Teaching has always been a huge part of me!
  I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and have been teaching 
for six years.  I taught for a year in Humble ISD and for three years in 
Austin ISD before coming to Cactus Ranch.  I am thrilled to now be a part of 
Round Rock ISD.  I love being a Longhorn here at CRE!  
  I grew up in Houston and now reside in Georgetown.  I have two sweet tabby 
cats named Maggie and Phoebe and an adorable, but also huge chocolate lab 
named Cooper.  My fiance Michael proudly serves his country and returned 
home from his second Iraq tour in January.  Michael and I will be getting 
married in Georgetown on October 18th this year, so yes my name will be 
changing soon!  I enjoy running and am currently training for my first half 
marathon.  I also like swimming, biking and taking the dog to the park.
  I am looking foward to a fantastic year at a great school with warm 
families!!!
