Dear Parents,

Monday, December 7th we will be creating culture collages in class.  These 
will be shared with the class and then displayed in the hallway.  I will 
provide the collage background but I am asking for help from each family to 
help in sharing your student’s culture and heritage.

Please send in one or more of the following (pictures, magazine clippings, 
newspaper clippings, cloth, fabric, photos) to represent the following items 
in regards to your child heritage.

Flag (note card provided for drawing of the flag)
Food
Photos of family 
Landmarks
Location on a map (map provided to color in the location of the country or 
region)

You may also include any other items that represent other areas of your 
culture like clothing, music or language.  The background for the collage 
will be 11X13 so keep that in mind when choosing your pictures.  Items for 
the collage may be sent in the plastic bag provided to school on or before 
Friday, December 4th.  This is meant to be a creative project.  A bag was 
sent home today in your child's agenda with these instructions as well as the 
materials for the flag and the map.  Please email or call with any 
questions.
