I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I am looking forward to a
fun year full of learning. This is my fourth year at Cactus Ranch and
I have the pleasure of being both a teacher and a parent at the school.
I have twelve years of teaching experience--9 years of experience in
first grade, 2 years of experience teaching Reading Recovery, and I taught
fifth grade one year. I love working with first graders. I enjoy the
excitement the students bring with them and how much change and growth they
experience throughout the year.
This year my son, Tommy, will be attending Cactus Ranch as a fourth grader.
My daughter, Savannah, will be attending Walsh Middle School as a 8th
grader. Both of them mean the world to me, so I understand and appreciate
the important role of parents.
