* Read for 15 minutes daily. Please record your reading on the monthly
Reading Log.
* Practice your Open Court letter/sound flash cards. Your child should be
able to recognize the letters in random order, make their sounds, identify the
letter hearing its sound, and make each sound's movement with ease.
* Practice recognizing your Kindergarten Sight Words. Once you can read them
all without sounding them out, practice spelling them.
*Complete your Weekly Homework. It will be distributed on Fridays and will
usually be due the following Friday. Please allow your child to do their own
work but do ensure the work is quality work.
