About The Teacher
Dear Cactus Ranch Family, Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Kim Carter and I am so excited about another year at “The Ranch”. This will be my fourteenth year of teaching, with experience in 4th, 5th , 6th, as well as TAG/enrichment math K- 5. The more years I get under my belt, the more I find that I enjoy the families as much as the teaching, so I look forward to getting to know you and yours. I hope you will be able to stop by Friday night from 5-7 for our “Back to School Howdy” where you can drop off supplies, buy spirit wear, and check out the classroom. Beware… the spirit of Buckeye Nation lives in our classroom  No U of M shirts allowed! On a more personal note, I grew up in Cincinnati, and graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus. Go Bucks! I bought a house a couple of years ago, which I just love, and I have two black and tan cats, George and Elmo. My younger brother Todd is still in Ohio but word is he might be down here for good by Christmas. Yahoo! My parents are retired and live in Driftwood and come up once a week to do Carter Team Tutoring here at CRE. They’re great. I love ‘em! I hope you had a wonderful summer and are as excited as I am about the year ahead of us! It is our goal at Cactus Ranch to have happy families that are satisfied with the job we do.
