Dear Cactus Ranch Family,

I hope all of you had a fun and restful summer. I can't believe that it's already time for
school to start. I am excited to begin a new year, and I look forward to working with all of my
students. It is my hope that we can all work together to improve your child's
communication skills so that they can be successful in and out of the classroom.

This is my sixth year at Cactus Ranch and in RRISD. I graduated from the University of Texas at
Austin and then went to UT Dallas for my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology. Of course I
couldn't stay away from the Austin area, so I had to move back. I have enjoyed living here ever
since!

My husband and I have one child. His name is Jacob, and he was born last October. This summer,
he enjoyed chasing after our yellow lab, Haley, getting into trouble, and learning how to get
around. He is becoming quite a little monkey! Jacob is always on the go and keeps
us very busy.

This year, I will be working part-time and will be on campus on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I want all of us to work
