FAQFrequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
How can we celebrate birthdays? We love birthdays. You are welcome to bring a birthday treat for 22 children. It must be store bought and please no nut products. Please email me or send a note if you will be bringing treats. We will sing and eat before specials starting at 1:15. You may send out birthday party invitations as long as all the children in the class are invited. If for some reason you choose to invite only certain children (boy's only party), you may send those out through mail. Who do I call if there is a change in transportation for my child? Please call the office at 424-8000. In addition to calling the office, you may leave me a voice mail. However, I cannot guarantee I will be able to check my voice mail before school is out. Where do I meet my child for lunch? Please sign in at the office as a visitor. Please meet your child outside the cafeteria. Adult lunches cost $2.50. Please call the cafeteria and order a tray if you are planning on eating a cafeteria lunch at 424-8088 by 8:15am to place an order. What do I need to do if my child is absent? Please call the office at 424-8000 to report an absence as soon as possible. When your child returns to school, please send a note in his/her agenda explaining the absence. I will turn that note into the office. Please refer to the Student Handbook you received at the beginning of the year to determine if the absence is excused or unexcused. The work will be sent home following his/her return to school. What if I need to pick my child up early from school? Please be sure to send a note in your child's Agenda if you plan on picking him/her up early. You must go to the school office to sign your child out, and we will send your child down to the office for pick up. |
