Welcome Cactus Ranch Families. My name is Carol Cisneros and I am truly
blessed to be a member of the Cactus Ranch Elementary family! This is my 6th
year of teaching young learners. I taught kindergarten and second grade in my
home town of Amarillo. I have taught kindergarten and first grade here at
Cactus Ranch. My passion is teaching and I am very excited to be your child's
teacher this school year. I met my husband, Chad, at Amarillo High School
which is in the town where we both grew up. We soon became high school
sweethearts. We both moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas. Hook
em horns!! I am a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. I
graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. When I am not teaching,
I enjoy church activities, spending time with my loved ones, running with my
husband, and traveling. This summer Chad and I visited St. John's in the US
Virgin Islands. It was breathtaking! We both love the beach and enjoy
snorkeling. I truly love teaching young children because they are so
impressionable and eager to learn new things. I desire and hope my students
will have a positive, fun learning experience in first grade. I believe that
education should be an exciting journey and I will do my best to make it that
