Can I send something to school for my child's birthday?

Yes ,you may send a treat. We will eat it at free choice time in
the
afternoon after lunch. Please try to limit it to cookies or
cupcakes...you
choose. It will need to be store bought according to RRISD policy
for food to
be served in the classroom. We have a child with peanut allergies
so please keep this in mind when sending treats.

What do I do if my child is absent?

Let the office know in the morning and submit a note to the
office upon your
child's return. You can email me early also and I can do my
attendance which
I like to do attendance at 8:00 in the morning. If your child is
going to be later
please let me know early by email and what they would like to
order for
lunch so that they get what they want to eat for that
day...choice 1 or
choice 2 or yogurt plate. If I do not know they will have to get
whatever
the cafeteria has the most of on that day.

What if my child has a contagious disease?

It is very important to let our school nurse know as soon as
possible so
that we may watch other children more carefully and send a note
to parents
if necessary. The child's name will NOT be used!

What do I do if I need to change transportation for my child that day?

can be
