Read to your child every night for at least 15 minutes,pointing to each
word. Practice spelling sight words daily until your child knows them by
heart.
Friday's homework is in your child's green folder. Please let your child do
the work themselves.You may help a child stretch out a word but accept
whatever they write if they hear those sounds. You can correct them on a
sight word because these are words they must be able to spell before leaving
kindergarten and are on the non-negotiable list.Turn in homework on the
following Friday in your child's behavior folder. Never put anything in the
blue CRE Tuesday folder since I never check these....only your child's
behavior folder gets checked on a daily basis for any notes, lunch
money,notes to let me know how your child will going home differently for the
day or anything else you want me to see.
