Welcome to Cactus Ranch Elementary! I feel very honored to have the
opportunity to be a part of your child's first school experience!
Kindergarten is an exciting time of learning and discovery and sets the tone
for your child's lifelong journey in education.
This will be my second year at Cactus Ranch and I'm looking forward to a
great year! I previously taught kindergarten at Jarrell Elementary in
Jarrell I.S.D. I am a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University.
My husband Tony is also a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University and works as
a civil engineer at a design firm in Georgetown. We were married in December
2007 and we are the proud parents of a Miniature Schnauzer named Einstein.
He is happiest at the Doggie Depot here in Round Rock and he is the source of
many of my writing prompts! My personal hobbies include working out,
reading, trying out new recipes, traveling, and spending time with my friends
and family.
I am really looking forward to getting to know you and your family. My goal
this year is to create a classroom family of life long learners. My desire
is for your child to become an independent, responsible Kindergartner who
loves to learn! I welcome family involvement, and welcome the chance to
work together to make this a successful year. I look forward to being a
part of your child's education!
The children and I will work to develop our Class Mission and Social Contract
in the next couple of weeks. Our Social Contract will cover how we want to
be treated, how we will treat others, and what we will do if we need
reminders.
